As a program participant, you will be a member of the Harvard Law School community for the period of time you are on campus. Therefore, you have a personal responsibility to support the health, safety, and well-being of everyone on our campus including program participants, staff, faculty, students, partners, and visitors. This is a natural extension of the School's Community Values.
To address the unique and evolving challenges of managing the COVID-19 pandemic, and to foster an environment of trust, I affirm the following:
- I understand it is strongly recommended that participants be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and up to date on boosters prior to coming to campus, per CDC guidance.
- I agree to take a self-administered rapid COVID-19 test after arriving in Cambridge, within 24 hours of the start of the program, and prior to coming to campus. Proof of a negative test is not required; however, Harvard Law School Executive Education calls on participants to act responsibly and with consideration for the health and safety of others.
- I agree to abide by all other HLS COVID-19 health and safety protocols in place, which are based on federal, state, local, and Harvard University guidance. Non-compliance could result in removal from the program. Protocols may include COVID testing, usage of face coverings, confirming wellness, and/or capacity guidelines around gathering size. I understand that these protocols are subject to change based on the state of the pandemic and I may receive updated protocols upon arrival to campus.
- I understand it is my responsibility to stay informed of all travel guidelines and that I am responsible for taking any necessary steps to ensure I am able to travel to and from the program.
- I understand and agree that in the event of an outbreak of COVID-19, I will (at my own expense) leave campus and will follow Harvard's policies and protocols as well as the recommendations of the local board of public health related to COVID-19.
- I further understand and agree that if COVID-19 is present on campus or in Harvard's geographical area, I may be subject to isolation or quarantine in accordance with the Massachusetts Reportable Diseases, Surveillance, and Isolation and Quarantine Requirements (105 CMR 300.000) and Harvard policies and protocols.
